Starter Kit Collection
Great gift for the new gardener! Celebrate Spring with this wonderful 105 bulb package collection of hardy tulips, daffodils, crocus and hyacinth. Blooming color throughout the season.

Tulips
Originating in the foothills of Central Europe, tulips were brought to Western Europe in the 16th century and soon became synonymous with the Dutch culture and one of the world's most popular flowers. Tulips look best when grouped into larger sized garden plantings or pots and containers – although they also present a spectacular display when blooming in our enormous Skagit Valley fields!

Daffodils
Perhaps the world's most easily recognized flower, daffodils can be grown almost anywhere in the United States and Canada and naturalize extremely well in most climate zones. Daffodils are famous for announcing the arrival of spring with their famous trumpet shaped blooms. Most commonly seen flowering in yellow colors, daffodil blooms can be found in a handful of other colors and a number of bi-colored combinations as well.

Hyacinths
Beautiful colored blooms complimented by a sweetly smelling scent make hyacinths a favorite choice for many gardeners. Spectacular when planted alone but hyacinths also feature well when planted in flower beds containing tulips and daffodils. Flowers bloom early in the spring with some later varieties showing color towards the middle of the season. A rather strong naturalizing bulb and missing from the menu for deer and rodents, hyacinth bulbs are easy to grow and care for.
Crocus
The first flowers to sprout from the earth each year, crocus bring forth hope for the warmer days and bright blooms of spring. Crocus bulbs must be planted during the autumn months to bloom during the spring. A true perennial, they naturalize well, multiply very quickly, can be planted nearly anywhere, and require very little care from one year to the next. They also tend to be moderately to highly resistant to deer. Crocus will be flowered and gone by the time daffodils, hyacinths, and tulips begin to color – their addition is a great way to extend the bloom season in a garden.

Fresh cut flowers are only half of what we do at Tulips.com. We also have a great selection of tulip bulbs, daffodil bulbs, hyacinth bulbs, and other specialty flower bulbs for spring blooming. Customers can place bulb orders from February to December for the biggest and best flower bulbs available anywhere - including Holland. The mild maritime climate of the Skagit Valley allows our bulbs an extended growing season to mature and grow to larger sizes - growth that is supplemented by the rich topsoil of the valley. Need proof? Check out the blooms that the Tulips.com bulbs produce at our RoozenGaarde display garden. After our fields of flowers have been topped, the bulbs are allowed to mature and multiply, and are then harvested. Tulips.com then selects the largest bulbs from each year's crop so you can grow the same beautiful tulips and daffodils in your own home gardens.
