Happy September to you all! As we tip toe into the fall our
summer blooms are still towering vibrantly in our garden. The dahlias, zinnia,
sunflowers, lilies, and petunias are at their height - full of color, bloom,
and beauty. If you have not yet stopped by to stroll the garden or pick up a
fresh dahlia bouquet, we recommend you do so while you still can. Hopefully
these summer blooms will stay strong through September and the beginnings of
October, but you never know when a storm might come in and tussle these lengthy
beauties a little too much. For those of you who live too far to see us in
person, but would still love some of our homegrown
blooms, you can order our lilies anytime of the year. We currently have a variety of colors in both Asiatic
and Oriental varieties.

We expect to have more bulbs
available for sale at our store as September grows on. If there is a variety
you want to be sure and get your hands on for your spring garden, we recommend ordering
now. We still have a large variety of bulbs left for sale, but there's no
telling when we might sell out of your favorite. We know many of you have
already been thinking about getting your bulbs in your home soil - the change
in weather has a way of bringing this to the forefront of our minds and to-do
list.
Here is a little timeline that will allow you to plan
accordingly:**
Bulb Pickups: Our pickups will begin Wednesday, September 29th and last through
Wednesday, October 13th. If you marked "pickup" as your
shipping option, you should be receiving a Bulb Pickup Notice in the mail with
further information any day now. Make sure you bring your Bulb Pickup Notice
with you when you gather your bulbs.
For orders shipping:
Colder Climates: Late September/Early October.
Cool Climate: Early-Mid October
Warm Climate: Early-Mid November
Hot Climate: Early December
We recommend planting your bulbs upon receiving them. If for
some reason, you need to wait a few days, we strongly suggest opening your bulb
box upon arrival. It's important for the bulbs to be able to breath and
continue to have air circulate throughout.

There is always plenty to do before your bulbs arrive and if
you are looking for something to keep yourself busy, make sure you check out
our garden prep tips.
The RoozenGaarde shop is full
of gardening supplies to make preparing your garden a little bit smoother this
year. We even have some fun items for the littles to get involved!
Wishing you all a sunny end to summer and a wonderful
beginning to fall.
Flowers always make people better, happier, and more
helpful; they are sunshine, food and medicine for the soul.
