Winter Weather Shipping & Delivery Updates

Winter weather conditions may delay scheduled delivery dates.

All flowers ship via UPS Overnight Delivery from our farm, however unpredictable winter weather can occasionally delay delivery. If it is essential that these flowers are delivered on a particular date, we recommend selecting one day earlier for the delivery date. In our experience, recipients are rarely disappointed when receiving flowers one day early!

Flowers are well hydrated before the daily harvest, packed and shipped in the late afternoon, and are always scheduled to arrive for next day delivery. However, winter weather disruptions across the country can affect travel times and occasionally delay delivery times en route. Even during a short delay, our flowers arrive fresh as can be!

PLEASE NOTE: shipments delayed for delivery by one day due to weather conditions will not be eligible for refund or reshipment.

Tulips are no longer just a flower for spring. Although we do have 400 acres blooming in our Skagit Valley fields each spring, we also select the biggest tulip bulbs from each year's crop to force in our greenhouses throughout the other months of the year. And because we can control the growing of our flowers from the earliest stages, Tulips.com can also ensure that you will be receiving the most outstanding product available!

My Springtime Splurge
Apr 9, 2022  |  By Wendy
A friend recommended that I order tulips from here a year ago. They are now my springtime splurge. I order for 6 straight weeks and they have become part of my home office in these work from home times. People comment each week on the different colors. There are lovely local flowers that I also support but these are my favorite by far. They are consistent quality, on time and I smile every time I see the shipping confirmation. It doesn't get better than that.

Fresh cut flowers are only half of what we do at Tulips.com. We also have a great selection of tulip bulbs, daffodil bulbs, hyacinth bulbs, and other specialty flower bulbs for spring blooming. Customers can place bulb orders from February to December for the biggest and best flower bulbs available anywhere - including Holland. The mild maritime climate of the Skagit Valley allows our bulbs an extended growing season to mature and grow to larger sizes - growth that is supplemented by the rich topsoil of the valley. Need proof? Check out the blooms that the Tulips.com bulbs produce at our RoozenGaarde display garden. After our fields of flowers have been topped, the bulbs are allowed to mature and multiply, and are then harvested. Tulips.com then selects the largest bulbs from each year's crop so you can grow the same beautiful tulips and daffodils in your own home gardens.
